Que ele não possa ser independente, uma vez que também depende das circunstâncias sociais; que ele continue frágil, quer frente à vontade coletiva, quer porque, como Freud mostrou, o passado que é vivido como fragilidade frente ao mundo adulto sobrevive no adulto, são dados que devem ser ocultados de sua consciência. Certamente, os estereótipos que ele atribui ao outro e a si mesmo contribuem para isso.”
